and the word was "scene", and god said, "let there be scene", and lo, degayo got a new website, packed full of scene goodness.
maybe you should put links to the scene sites? every single oxfordband's from local oxford's mypazz's should be linked to by default, with the one exception of "dive dive" who aren't really a band, more a sort of immortal itch on your butt that keeps flaring up every few months, only to be satiated with the anusol of good music.
a couple of other quick updates - Eynsham Primary School Pond Festival will be taking place, as ever, this year, with a variety of local oxfordbands playing in and around the Pond and its surroundings. Local-based local-core Sexy Breakfast will headline the Pond Stage, whilst up-and-coming up-and-comers P.Y.E headline the Marsh stage. Camping tickets for the whole weekend are available from Mr. Keats, although no-one will be allowed in who's over the age of 12 due to new peadophile-protection security measures, after it was discovered that Mrs. Price bummed and ate a couple of children a week for about 2 years in the 1990s.
The 'Breakfast say they're looking forward to the event, which is sponsored by local oxford radio station FOX FM and hosted by Alan Day's left testicle. A quote from P.Y.E's website informs the scene that, unless emergency surgery to remove the 100 metre long tapeworm currently lodged up the guitarist's arse causing him to dance like an electrocuted spazz fails, their unique brand of local funk-pop-rock-funk will go ahead as planned.
keep it scene
